to the online home of the San Jacinto County Heritage Society. Our goal
is to introduce you to our area and to the collections and artifacts amassed
over the years. Our mission of the San Jacinto County Heritage Society
is to preserve the history of the community through restoration and maintenance
of historic structures, exhibition of historical artifacts and presentation
of education programs which focus on Coldspring's past and its relationship
to the present and future. This website is only a small representation
of what San Jacinto County has to offer
We encourage researchers,
persons interested in local history, and even genealogists to explore the
resources we have made available here. As always, we extend an open
invitation to all interested persons, of any age, to become members of
the Heritage Society to help continue the work of preserving the past of
San Jacinto County and the town of Coldspring, Texas.

for people of all types, whose only underlying similarity is an appreciation
for the rich history of the San Jacinto County area. If you wish
to discuss volunteer opportunities with us, please send an e-mail message
